The Organizational Safety Culture Change (OSCC) IPG
A hospital initiative designed specifically for critical access and rural hospitals, focused on improving the patient safety climate in the rural hospital environment.
Project Alignment and Partnering
This patient safety initiative is supported by and closely aligned with other ongoing hospital quality improvement efforts. These include each of the other CMS-sponsored IPRO initiatives: Appropriate Care Measures, Surgical Care Improvement, and Health Information Technology ; the Institute for Healthcare Improvement 5 Million Lives Campaign (all twelve modules); the Leapfrog Safety Practices; the American Hospital Association's Quality Agenda; and the Joint Commission's Center for Patient Safety.
In carrying out this initiative, IPRO is also working closely with the following local and regional stakeholders:
