Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Ossining, New York, working with IPRO in the Medicare 7th Scope of Work Nursing Home Quality Initiative as an Identified Participant facility, reduced pressure ulcer rates by 12%, reduced pain among long stay residents by 66%, and reduced pain among short stay residents by 73%.

Cedar Manor was one of two New York State skilled nursing facilities featured by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in materials developed for U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson. Thompson used the materials at a Washington, D.C. press event highlighting the strong working relationships developed by nursing homes and Quality Improvement Organizations across the United States.
