IPRO is pleased to invite all interested New York State hospitals to participate in a national conference call on Thursday, November 18, 2004, at 4PM ET to hear presentations which will introduce third quarter entries to the National HeartCare QIOSC's Annotated Clinical Bibliography provided by Drs. Edward P. Havranek and JoAnne M. Foody.
In addition for this call, Dr. Jane Brock will offer a presentation highlighting the publication titled "The Provider and Hospital Characteristics Associated with Geographic Variation in the Evaluation and Management of Elderly Patients with Heart Failure, running head: Geographic Variation in Heart Failure Care" authored by Dr. Edward P. Havranek, et al.
A question and answer session will follow the presentations and participants will also have a chance to ask questions on the evaluation form. The concept is to present updated heart care information and provide a forum for discussion to answer questions in a way that will benefit the entire QIO community and promote quality care.
