Enclosed is the corrected NHQI Enhanced Quality Measure Resource Manual. It has been brought to our attention that the manuals had been assembled improperly during the print process. Please replace the copy previously sent to you in the April 6, 2004 mailing.
The resource manual provides you with detailed information about the enhanced set of quality measures including measure definitions, minimum data set (MDS) assessment items, and risk adjustment methods.
IPRO looks forward to providing additional information on the enhanced quality measures and MDS correlation at the upcoming educational conferences titled "Enhanced Quality Measures and the MDS: Sowing Seeds of Quality" in June 2004. For more information about the conference dates and locations, please refer to Nursing Home Administrative Memorandum # 2004-05, dated April 27, 2004.
