Pauline Kinney, R.N., M.A., L.N.H.A., Director - NHQI, ext. 402

IPRO is committed to providing New York State nursing homes with tools necessary to implement successful quality improvement programs. As such, the usefulness of the tools and clinical resources that have been distributed throughout the NHQI project is of great interest to our team.

Enclosed is a follow-up survey referring to the clinical data tracking resource tools for pressure ulcers that were disseminated with Nursing Home Administrative Memorandum # 2003-13, dated December 10, 2004. These tools were tested and found to be useful as part of the change ideas that IPRO, along with Quality Improvement Organizations and nursing homes nationwide, considered during the National Nursing Home Improvement Collaborative (NNHIC). For additional information on the NNHIC, please visit our Web site at www.ipro.org/nhqi.

Your input is important to us, so please take a few minutes to review and complete the enclosed questionnaire. Should you have any questions, please contact Pauline Kinney at 516-326-7767 ext. 402 or at pkinney@nyqio.sdps.org.
