We are pleased to provide you with IPRO's Fall 2002 edition of Pneumonia News.
This edition introduces the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 7th Scope of Work Pneumonia project, highlights additions and changes in quality indicator definitions, and discusses some of CMS rationale for changes in quality indicator definitions. Information useful for the 2002-2003 Flu Season as well as information on upcoming teleconferences and opportunities for training, sponsored by IPRO, are also included.
