The enclosed Payment Error Prevention Program/Compliance Workbook, developed by the Texas Medical Foundation (PRO) and endorsed by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), is being provided to assist you in developing, implementing and/or conducting a voluntary compliance program. While we believe the Workbook will be a valuable guide for all hospitals, we recognize that you may need to tailor the information to meet the unique needs of your organization. To assist you in developing and focusing your Compliance Program, we refer you to the two preliminary assessment tools on pages 88-91.
In addition to the enclosed Workbook, there is an administrative/management training module available on diskette which closely parallels the Workbook material.
