IPRO remains committed to providing ongoing support for your agency regarding the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) sponsored Home Health Outcomes-Based Quality Improvement (OBQI) Initiative.

An informational Quality Measure Resource Binder was forwarded to your agency last week, containing best practice information, sample Plans of Action, intervention strategies and resource links for each of the 11 quality measures CMS has selected for public reporting. IPRO will be conducting a series of conference call presentations dedicated to the in-depth review of the information contained within the Quality Measure Resource Binder for each specific quality measure. The conference calls will also include a presentation by one of our NYS home health agencies who have been successful in improving the chosen outcome of focus, sharing lessons learned and specifics about their Plan of Action development and ongoing monitoring processes.

Enclosed please find a schedule of the conference call presentations that includes the topic area, date, time and call-in information. There is no registration fee for participation on the calls and you are welcome to participate on any of the conference calls you are interested in. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this educational opportunity by supporting the participation of your direct care clinical and therapy service staff.

In order to secure enough lines for agencies to participate, we ask that you please register for all of the conference calls you are interested in. To register go http://providers.ipro.org, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Events. Select the conference call topic area(s) you wish to register for and complete the registration information section. Registration will end two business days prior to each of the calls.

Please note that we will be referencing the specific chapter from the Quality Measure Resource Binder for the quality measure topic area addressed in each presentation. There are no additional handouts. We encourage you to have the binder available for reference during the conference call.
