In support of the Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI), IPRO, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for New York State, will be sponsoring four (4) statewide educational conferences titled "The More I Know - Managing Falls and Behaviors in Long Term Care Without the Use of Restraints."
The purpose of the conferences is to provide nursing homes with the knowledge and skills to implement quality improvement programs on managing falls and behaviors without the use of restraints. The target audience includes direct care and administrative staff members throughout the nursing home setting.
These NHQI educational conferences will be full-day sessions held at upstate and downstate locations as follows:

There is a fee of $25 per person to attend the conferences to help defray the cost of food and beverages. We accept credit cards and checks as forms of payment.
You can register for the conference online and get driving directions to the conference by visiting our website at www.ipro.org/nhqi. Walk-ins are discouraged.
We have applied for 6 CEU credits for Nursing Home Administrators.
