IPRO would like to invite members of your facility to our upcoming series of telephone conference calls entitled 'Adult Immunization Update: Prepare for Flu Season 2003'. The calls are scheduled for September 22, 24 and 25, 2003 and are designed to provide participants with an update on influenza and pneumococcal vaccine recommendations and the use of standing order protocols. Speakers will include Dr. Sheila Palevsky from the Adult Immunization Program of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Mr. Hugh Boothe, RPh, from Jacobi Medical Center in New York City.

Please distribute the enclosed invitation and encourage participation of appropriate medical, quality improvement and nursing staff members.

Included is a fax back registration form that should be used to register for the conference. The fax back form contains a listing of the conference call dates and times. Materials for the call will be sent to participants following receipt of the faxed registration.
