In an effort to clarify the requirements for participation in the Hospital Public Reporting Pilot Study, the 7th SOW hospital data collection task, and the American Hospital Association (AHA) sponsored public reporting initiative ("The Quality Initiative: A Public Resource on Hospital Performance"), IPRO has developed the enclosed comparative summary document.

In addition, IPRO will conduct four conference calls to address questions relating to these requirements.

Please review the document with your staff and submit questions via email to nypro.mshaffer@sdps.org prior to the first conference call. This will give us the opportunity to share FAQ's across all calls. We will also answer questions that may arise on each scheduled conference call.
